SPRING...

For some crazy reason I signed up in R.S. to be in charge of a craft night. This is crazy because I am not a crafty person at all! I have been thinking for a few weeks now of an easy craft and this is what I came up with (with the help of my good friend "M")

Because I am tired of winter and anxiously awaiting spring I thought I would add a dash of color to my decor...it make me feel good just looking at those bright spring colors. Now the weather just needs to cooperate! Thanks "M" for coming over today to help me with this. Your the greatest!

WAITING...

My sister-in-law "S" is due in 5 days so we thought we would take a few pictures of her before the baby comes. She is a pregnant womans dream... she barely looks pregnant from the front view...and she has hardly gained any weight (I'm jealous). Thanks for letting me practice on you "S"...I can't wait to meet my new little niece!

My little girl...

We celebrated little sis's birthday a few weeks ago and I have been so excited to take some pictures of her. Because it has been so cold and so snowy lately a good friend of mine let me use her studio to take some pics. Thanks so much Raquel! I love the way these turned out... but it makes me realize she is growing up...she's not so little anymore...

It's a.......GIRL!!!!


I had my 20 week ultrasound last week and found out we are having a girl. We were all a little shocked. I thought for sure that it was a boy. It may be becasue I grew up with only brothers so I just assumed I would have lots of boys...Or it may be because my due date is the same as big bro's so I thought it must be a boy. Big bro. was really hoping for a boy but when he found out it was a girl he said "that's okay mom, I guess I'll just have to be the big brother to two sisters." Little sis of course wanted it to be a "gwirl" and after the ultrasound she told me she wanted her new baby sister "right now." We are all so excited. I am so happy that little sis will have a sister (it is something I always wanted). So I guess it is time to start thinking pink!

Pigtails...

Little sis loves her hair in pigtails lately. As soon as I put the elastics in she shakes her head (it is so cute). She also cooperated when I took these pictures--which was a pleasant surprise. She is growing up so fast!

Oh what fun...

We had a great New Years Day! We spent the afternoon being pulled behind my dad's 4-wheeler on a sled. Big bro. had so much fun but little sis wanted nothing to do with the sled. She was content just playing in the snow. After sledding we had hot muffins with hot chocolate and then went to a movie. We ended the day watching a football game on grandpa's big screen TV. It was a wonderful start to a new year!

grandpa rounded a corner a little too fast and dumped big bro. off the sled but he didn't mind, he was all smiles...
